Hi all I am the owner of Cameras by Oscar this is just a little introduction to why I started the business.

 

I find repairing cameras can be a rewarding and fulfilling profession for a number of reasons. Here are some possible reasons why I decided to start repairing cameras,

• My passion for photography: Many camera repair technicians like myself are passionate about photography and have a deep appreciation for the art and science of capturing images. By repairing cameras, i feel I am to contributing to the preservation and maintenance of the tools that photographers use to create their art.

• Repairing cameras requires a high degree of technical skill and knowledge and from a young age i always preferred the hands on approach or taking things apart. These days this is source of satisfaction due having to solving complex problems and diagnosing what is wrong before I start. Repairing cameras can be a challenging as there are so many different cameras and transferring skills from camera from camera isn't alway as simple as it sounds.

• I am also aware of the positive environmental impact: Repairing cameras can have a positive impact on the environment by extending the life of existing equipment and hopefully they may outlive me. By repairing and refurbishing cameras, I help to reduce waste and conserve resources.

• I find high satisfaction repairing cameras, as it allows me to use my skills to help others. Many people rely on their cameras for their livelihoods or for capturing important memories, so being able to repair their equipment and get it back into working order can be very rewarding.

Overall, repairing cameras is a fulfilling profession to me and hope these cameras i fix get used again.
